Words of Wisdom

From Audra's Dad:
It is important for parents to be firm on principles and lenient on preferences.

From a colleague of Don's:
Tell your kids you are going on an "adventure." Do not tell them where exactly. This way, if plans
change at the last minute, the kids will never know.

  1. Love it! I'm using that adventure line from now on.

  2. I'm glad you like that phrase too. I have remembered it since middle or high school.
