I am grateful for my Mom.
My Mom gave to me even when she didn't have. My Mom supported me even when I didn't deserve it. My Mom loved me even when I pushed her away. My Mom blessed me even when I angry. My Mom cherished me even when I wasn't very honorable.
Thank you, Mom. Thank you for not giving up on me. Thank you for being MY cheerleader. Thank you, Mom, for being my greatest teacher.
I love you.

ReplyDeleteYour mom sounds like the kind of mom I hope to be.
ReplyDeleteJodie,
ReplyDeleteYour mere presence in my life has always blessed me. Now, it is your words that put me into overwhelm! Thank you. I love you beyond what you can know today. But, tomorrow will reveal this kind of love to you when your children are grown and you see more completely what it is you have fought for. The struggles we Mothers go through for our children are beyond question and full of hope. They are an earthly example of the price our Father in Heaven paid through Jesus for the deliverance of all His children.
Mom
Fabulous photo! Your mom looks like she hasn't change at all since I last saw her; which heaven help me was probably close to fifteen years ago. You all look wonderful! You're friend Natalie said it perfectly, "classy and southern". I love it!
